Local Fijian hardwood floors, handcrafted details, and a calm unhurried atmosphere make this a home rather than a holiday rental. Sleeping configurations can be arranged as king or twin to suit your group.

The 800 sq ft patio commands 190-degree views across the Somosomo Strait, unchallenged by any other home on Taveuni. Newly renovated bathrooms include outdoor showers with uninterrupted ocean views.

Isoa and Pini have managed Ucuilagi for years and live in a house at the back of the property. They are the reason guests come back.

Whether that is arranging a dive charter to the Great White Wall, organising a lovo feast, sourcing fresh fish from local fishermen, or making sure the property is exactly as it should be before you arrive, Isoa handles it. He knows every dive operator, every trail, and every local worth knowing on Taveuni Island. When you stay at Ucuilagi, his knowledge of the island becomes yours.
