Ucuilagi is a beautifully constructed house exhibiting an indoor outdoor flow enabling you to make the most of your Fiji experience. Consisting of 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. A well appointed bure consists of 2 large bedrooms, shared bathroom facilities, and tea and coffee making facilities. Local Fijian hardwood floors provides a cool and calming interior of the house which is decorated with local crafts and family treasures. Sleeping configurations can be any combination of king-sized beds or twin beds to suit your needs.
The 800sq ft patio provides expansive 190° views across the Somosomo Strait that is unchallenged by any other home on Taveuni Island. During the evening have a swim in the swimming pool whilst admiring the beautiful sunsets enjoying your cocktail or Fiji Bitter. Enjoy the amazing star gazing to finish off your evening.
The surrounding gardens are immaculately maintained by the onsite manager Isoa and his loving family. Take a walk through the gardens and taste a freshly picked pineapple, papaya, or mango when in season.
How to get here
There are daily flights from Nadi and Suva International Airports to Taveuni Airport (Matei). All bookings should be made with Fiji Airways. Additionally, Northern Air operate regular flights from Suva to Taveuni. Note that Northern Air operate charter flights for larger groups.
As transfers are included in the package. Our manager, Isoa, will pick you up from Taveuni Airport which is only five minutes away by car.
